Nosferatu – silent film concert with Stockholm Concert Orchestra
Experience silent film as it should be seen – and heard – with a real orchestra. At the world-famous Skandia cinema in Stockholm, the Stockholm Concert Orchestra, conducted by George M. Morton, will perform Hans Erdmann’s original music for the film.
The film comes from the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Stiftung in Wiesbaden.
A classic silent film inspired by Bram Stoker’s novel “Dracula”, about the rise of the bloodthirsty Count Orlok. One day, the Count is visited at his castle in Transylvania by a broker who sells him a property in Bremen. Orlok travels to his new home on a ship, lying in a coffin, and soon after he arrives in Bremen, the city begins to suffer a series of mysterious deaths.
